Long rubber
milking liner
The milking liner is one of the main parts of the milk-
ing machine. Its quality is very important for both
animal health and milk quality. This product is avail-
able in a pack of four (one set).
Liner replacement should be done after 2500 milk-
ings for each liner, because the liner rubber loses its
initial elasticity after this number of milkings.
It should be noted that at the time of replacement,
all four liners of a milking cluster should be replaced
together, and replacing some of them is not the right
thing to do. Because the used liner, as mentioned
before, due to the loss of its elasticity, should not
be used together with the new long liner in a cluster,
because it causes injury and damage to the cow’s
udders.
